Not So Impossible After All!

Well, they've done it! The masterminds behind the Impossible Project have made the impossible possible...they have officially succeeded in bringing back instant film! No, they're not making the same old Polaroid film...they've actually created their very own version, which will be available for sale on March 25. You'd better believe I'll be lining up (virtually, of course!) to buy some! Right off the bat, they're starting with a wonderful monochrome film in 2 versions, one compatible with 600 cameras and one compatible with SX-70s. I've seen some of the test shots, and they're...well, just amazing. If you haven't checked out the Impossible Project's new site, I highly recommend doing so!

And, in honor of the continued life of instant photography as a valid...and thriving!...artform, here is a little mosaic of some of my very favorite Polaroid photos from Flickr. Enjoy!
