New Items in my Vintage Shop!

Well, I finally got off my tucus and listed some great new items in my Etsy vintage shop, Retail Therapy Retro! Please, go check 'em out!

My husband and I have listed some lovely new items in our vintage shop! I actually wish I could keep all of them! Though, I must admit, the longer I look at it, the more the adorable wooden chicken bowl becomes my favorite! (I also love the distressed wooden candle holder, and the bluebird dish, and...well, all of it!)

We spent a couple of lovely days poking around in the deepest, darkest corners of the antique shops and thrift stores to come up with these treasures, and time like that is never time wasted, in my ever-humble opinion! Enjoy!

Poor, neglected little brooch!

For some reason, one of the items posted in our Etsy vintage shop has exactly ZERO views. I don't understand it! It's a lovely vintage brooch...petal pink enamel, rhinestone, chain, and a pink pearl drop. Very feminine, very delicate, very lovely! I feel sad for the poor thing, getting no attention. Perhaps those who run across this blog post might consider clicking the link and giving the poor pink brooch some love?

We spent the day today hitting garage sales and thrift shops, and we found some really nice items for our vintage shop! I put up a bunch of them today, and there are still more that we haven't gotten to yet, so keep an eye out for more fun fun stuff soon!

Okay, after digging through a whole bunch of vintage and thrift shops this weekend, we have some new items for our Etsy vintage shop! Yay! Some very cool things, I think!

Wow, crazy!

Wow! Our brand-spanking-new vintage shop has only been open since yesterday afternoon/evening, and we already have two sales! Plus, quite a few items have been hearted, and most of them have a good number of views for only having been listed less than 24 hours ago!

This is going to be fun, I think!

Now, we just have to start scouring thrift shops, garage sales, and estate sales for more goodies to add! Keep an eye on Retail Therapy Retro, baby! We're gonna be huge! ;-P

Well, it's official! My husband and I got off our lazy behinds and got our Etsy vintage shop going! I'm very happy to announce the opening of Retail Therapy Retro! Currently, we have 16 items posted, and we'll keep posting more as we find them and get things together. I think we have some really nice stuff to start with, though! My husband and I have decided to start up a new Etsy shop for vintage goodies. Not clothing, most likely, since I have very few skills when it comes to evaluating the age and worth of vintage duds, but knick-knacks and whats-its. He and I tend to spend many a long hour wandering thrift shops and antique sales and garage sales, and thought it might be nice to have a place to share some of the wild and wonderful things we come across with others, while making a few bucks on the side, too, lol!

We've got a name all picked out and we have already secured the Etsy shop url. We've been slowly amassing some stock to get things started, and we're almost to the point of taking pictures of everything, writing descriptions, and loading up the items!

So watch this space! I'll announce the official opening as soon as we get everything together and ready to go! We've already got some very cute things (that will be hard for me to let go of, ha!) and I'm getting excited about launching!!
